Migration to AWS: the new website cannot be reached from the Internet

Tafawoq Academy, a tutoring platform in Rabat, is moving its website to AWS (region eu-west-3, Paris) before evening classes resume. Yesterday an intern used the console to create a new VPC 10.30.0.0/16, a public subnet, an Internet Gateway and the web-tafawoq-01 instance (an image prepared with nginx and the application).

The www.tafawoq.ma DNS record was switched this morning to the instance's public IP. Since then the site does not respond, and neither does SSH. Students have class at 18:00.

You are on your workstation with the AWS CLI v2 configured (default profile, region eu-west-3).
