Bab Santé: the new appointment portal cannot connect to its database

Bab Santé, a network of clinics in Meknès, Fès and Ifrane, is launching its new appointment booking portal. The portal runs on the VM vm-portail-01 in a new virtual network vnet-portail (10.61.0.0/16), created on Monday and connected by peering to the data network vnet-data (10.60.0.0/16).

The sqldb-rdv database on the Azure SQL server sql-babsante-prod is reachable only through a private endpoint (pe-sql-babsante, in vnet-data): public network access is disabled, a requirement of the compliance team for health data. The old application, in vnet-data, reaches it without any problem.

The portal was due to open at 15:00 with an SMS campaign already scheduled. It displays “Service temporarily unavailable”. You are on your workstation with the Azure CLI signed in.
