The payment API is unreachable even though its pods are running

Daret Pay, a Rabat fintech that digitises rotating savings groups ("daret"), merged a refactoring of its Kubernetes manifests this morning: moving to the recommended app.kubernetes.io/* labels. The deployment finished without errors… but the mobile app shows "Service unavailable" and https://app.daretpay.ma/api/ returns 503.

Everything runs in the daret namespace (kubectl context already set). The manifests live in the repository cloned on the bastion, in the k8s/ folder. Team rule: Git is the source of truth; you fix the files and then run kubectl apply -f k8s/, never a manual change in the cluster.
