Delivery note scanning stops: “Stale file handle” on the share

Transports Ouled Ziane scans its signed delivery notes every day. The scanflux service on app-scan-01 (Rocky Linux 9) drops the PDFs into /mnt/scans, an NFS share from the storage server nas-01 (nas-01:/exports/scans).

On Saturday, the storage team migrated the share to a new, larger volume on nas-01 (file copy, then switchover). They state: “everything is copied, the export is the same, no change on the client side”.

Since the docks opened this Monday, scanflux has been failing and PDFs are piling up on the scanners. You are the Linux administrator. You have an account on nas-01 (command ssh nas-01 '<command>').
