The booking site has crawled since the search by phone number went live

Riad Booking manages bookings for 350 riads in Marrakech and Essaouira. This morning at 09:00 the team launched a long-awaited feature: "Find my booking" with your phone number, on the website and on the WhatsApp bot. Since then the whole site is slow, riad front desks can no longer check guests in, and the database CPU is at 98 %.

You are connected to the production database with psql (\timing is enabled in .psqlrc). The reservations table holds the full history since 2012. Constraint: it is 10:20, bookings keep coming in, and the service must not be stopped.
